The Clek Fllo weighs 11.3 kg (11.3 kg), which is substantial for a car seat you need to carry through an airport. A car seat travel cart or wheeled bag is practically essential. The upside is the narrow 42.9 cm width and rigid LATCH connectors that fold away neatly. Parents who bring this seat on trips usually do so because they want their everyday premium seat with them rather than renting.
Using it on board
At 42.9 cm wide, the Fllo fits airplane seats well despite its heft. It installs both rear-facing and forward-facing with the aircraft seat belt, and the rigid lower anchors fold flat when not in use. Clek provides clear belt-routing guides, and the installation feels very secure on aircraft seats. The compact footprint once installed actually leaves reasonable legroom for the seat in front.
