Clek Liingo: Airline & Country Compatibility
The Liingo is Clek's infant seat with the narrowest width in their lineup at 42.9 cm. FAA-approved at 4.1 kg with Clek's reputation for safety engineering. The slim profile makes it one of the better choices for narrow airplane seats.
How It Ranks

Getting through the airport
The Clek Liingo weighs 4.1 kg (4.1 kg) and has a distinctive rigid-shell design. It is compatible with stroller frames through the included adapter. The narrow 42.9 cm width gives it a slimmer profile than most infant seats, which can be easier to manage in tight spaces. The carry handle is functional but the overall design is more angular than the typical rounded infant carrier.
Using it on board
At 42.9 cm wide, the Liingo is one of the narrowest infant seats available and fits comfortably in economy seats, including tighter regional jet configurations. It installs rear-facing with the aircraft lap belt. Clek is known for excellent crash test performance, and parents appreciate the substantial feel of the seat. The belt path is clearly marked for base-free installation.
Good to know
The Liingo carries both FAA and EASA certification, making it versatile for international travel. Clek designs and manufactures in Canada with a focus on safety and non-toxic materials (Greenguard Gold certified). The narrower width is a real advantage if you are booking a seat on a smaller aircraft. The trade-off is a higher price point than many competitors, but the build quality and dual certification justify it for frequent travelers.
One of the 10 lightest travel car seats we track. See the Clek Liingo on Amazon.
