At the airport
The Butterfly 2 keeps the same 7.3 kg weight and 55.4x44.7x24.4 cm fold as its predecessor. Bugaboo refined the fold mechanism to be slightly smoother, and the stroller still self-stands when collapsed. It moves through security easily and the compact folded shape fits on the X-ray belt without fuss. Parents upgrading from the original Butterfly will find the airport routine nearly identical.

Overhead bin compatibility remains strong at around 80% of airlines, matching the original Butterfly. The slim 23cm folded depth continues to be one of the best in the category. Bugaboo improved the harness and canopy for the second generation but kept the dimensions that matter for cabin storage.
